Come and Join the Sarah Jane Johnson Memorial UMC Upper Room Living Prayer Center. Thursday of every month from 6 to 8 pm volunteers from our church (men, women and youth) can staff the toll free remote line diverted to the church from Nashville, TN. Our goal is to have a person with a prayer partner answer the calls for a half hour. Training will be available.
This is an intercessory prayer ministry staffed by volunteers. More than 30,000 prayer requests are answered by the center each month. The primary ministry is to minister to those who call our 800 prayer line number in need of prayer. There will also be a place set aside for others to pray for needs of our congregation, our community, our nation and the world.
